WASHINGTON D.C. (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – A hardware failure is causing problems with the IRS paying out tax refunds.
Taxpayers can file tax returns normally and send them to the company they plan to file with electronically. The company will hold them until e-returns are accepted again.
The effect of the outage isn’t known, but the IRS explains there shouldn’t be long delays in paying out refunds.
