(WBAP/KLIF News.) A security training group is attempting to teach the public how to prevent a terror attack. That is the goal behind one organization holding seminars in North Texas following the attacks this week in Brussels.
Dr. Frederic Lemieux is with The Centient Group. He says they are made up of several people with security backgrounds.
“We have well-trained special forces members,” said Dr. Lemieux. “How to be more aware, how to be able to detect suspicious behavior or suspicious situations.”
The Centient Group was founded by Al Micallef who is the owner of Fort Worth’s Reata Restaurant.
The training includes terrorism awareness, active shooter response and simulation training.
