Amal Clooney Speaks in Dallas on Human Trafficking

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News)  Amal Clooney is standing up against human trafficking. The human rights lawyer and wife of George Clooney spoke before a sold-out crowd yesterday at a “New Friends New Life” luncheon at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. The event raised more than $1M, according to the Dallas Morning News. Clooney said more than 27 million people are enslaved right now throughout the world. The organization offers counseling, housing and other services every year to women and teens who were victims of human trafficking.
