Texas Group Tries to Build Relations with Cuba

(WBAP/KLIF News) – A group of Texans will head to Cuba in late June to try to increase trade with the island.

A group from the Fort Worth Sister Cities Program went to Cuba earlier this year.  “We were very curious about potential business opportunities and to learn about the culture and politics.  It was an exploratory mission for us,” said Ferguson, the program’s president.

She said an improving relationship between US and Cuba can benefit from Texas’ economy.
