Ex-American Airlines Employee Gets Six Years in Prison

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A former American Airlines employee who planned to use the carrier to smuggle cocaine through DFW Airport is headed to prison.

A judge sentenced Janelle Isaacs, 42, to six years or her role in the plan.

Prosecutors said Isaacs and three others used their positions at DFW to bypass security in order to move cocaine to numerous destinations across the country from 2013 to 2015.

The rest of the group has already been sentenced.
