International Investigative Firm Moves its Headquarters to Dallas

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — An organization known for investigating high-dollar corruption will soon be making Dallas its home.

The Joint Task Force for Anti and Counter Corruption does most of its work internationally, investigating money laundering and fraud while also recovering millions of dollars in stolen assets.

But moving to North Texas, according to a senior investigator with the firm, will still have an impact on the Metroplex.

“It’s going to be a job creator in Dallas,” said Investigator Williams, who asked for his real name to be kept anonymous due to the nature of his work. “We’ll be looking for fraud investigators and private investigators. We’ll be training people how to do investigations.”

He also says being in Dallas means the firm will work with both local law firms and police, even though most of their work is done across borders.

Williams says they plan to be fully operational in Dallas by the end of April.

“We try to keep under the radar as much as we can only because of the nefarious people we’re going after,” Williams said. “Some of the guys are really, really bad people.”
