DISD Puts Under Performing Schools on a Possible Chopping Block

DALLAS, TX (WBAP/KLIF News) – A hearing will take place tonight to determine the fate of several Dallas schools.

Dallas ISD says they’re hosting the public forum to share information about five low performing schools, being considered by the board for closure.

The five campuses on the chopping block are…Thomas A. Edison Learning Center, J.W. Ray Learning Center, C.F. Carr Elementary School, John F. Kennedy Learning Center and Edward Titche Elementary School.

The hearing takes place this evening at 5:00 at Lincoln High School in South Dallas
