Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – As the shooting death of a 3-year old Fort Worth boy continues, police now say that it’s now known if the toddler, identified as Jonnie Colon accidentally shot himself or whether or not the shooting was intentional.
Police were called to home on Lawnwood Street around 9:45 last night where the boy was found shot in the head. Early reports were that the boy found a shotgun in a back bedroom and accidentally shot himself in the head.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office has the boy’s address listed 801 Hammond Street, which is about 6 miles from where the shooting occured

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Tragedy in Fort Worth when a toddler shoots himself in the head with a shotgun. Police say the child was in a back bedroom of a home on Lawnwood Street when the incident happened. A distraugt, grief-stricken mother had to be transported to the hospital by abulance.
The incident happened around 9:45 last night.
No arrests have been made.
