GRAPHIC VIDEO: Five Shot During Neighborhood Football Game Near Fair Park

Dallas Police held a press conference today with new details about the shooting.

Police have confirmed that the shooting happened about 9p.m. Sunday night on Spring Avenue. A total of five people were shot, three women and two men. According to witnesses a black male walked up to the football field, got onto a moped (silver in color, with black lettering) and drove toward the field where he opened fire. Another witness told police after that, multiple people began shooting toward the suspect on the moped.

Police are still unsure what motivated the original shooter, but did provide a description of the shooter based on details provided by witnesses at the scene. He’s described as a black male in his 20’s, 5’8 to 5’10 with a fit build, short hair, wearing black Nike shorts, black shoes and no shirt.

Dallas Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting, to please come forward and contact police.

 

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Five people are dealing with injuries after being shot at a pick-up football game near fair park.

A large number of athletes and spectators were near the Juanitia Craft Recreation Center after 9:00 last night, when multiple gunmen start firing shots toward each other.

Dallas police say one of the five people shot was a pregnant woman — she was critically injured.

Her baby was delivered via c-section and is said to be doing okay.

No word from police on any arrests — video of the incident on social media shows dozens of shots were fired.

Twitter video captured the start of the gunfire, which sounded like a war zone.
