One North Texas City Reminding Residents of Water Restrictions Given Extreme Heat

LANCASTER (WBAP/KLIF) – One North Texas city is reminding its residents about watering restrictions given the extreme heat.

The City of Lancaster is in Stage 2 of its Lancaster Drought Contingency Plan which allows two watering days a week.

If the last digit of your address ends in an even number, you can water Sundays and Thursdays. Odd number ending address can water Saturdays and Wednesdays and if for whatever reason you do not have an address, you can water Sundays and Thursdays.

Watering is also restricted between 10:00am and 6:00pm.

Lancaster is a wholsale water customer of the City of Dallas.
