Major Human Trafficking Bust in North Texas

(WBAP/KLIF News) – Multiple arrest have been made after a joint effort between Dallas authorities led to the arrest of a suspected leader in a human trafficking operation. Major Max Geron is with the Dallas Police Department and says an aggravated assault that happened in April of 2018 led to the initial investigation: “The Dallas Police Department’s High-Risk Victims and Trafficking Unit and the Narcotics Interdiction Unit initiated a joint investigation and were able to identify Tremont Blakemore.”

According to Major Geron, two others were arrested with Blakemore at the time of his arrest. All were arrest at a house in Fort Worth, TX located at 12405 Yellow Wood Drive: “Blakemore had a number of women in that house that he was prostituting. we executed three search warrants simultaneously and were able to take him and two additional females in his group.” Police say that Blakemore has trafficked victims from as far away as Maine, Wyoming and Montana.
