North Texas Red Cross Workers go to Florida to Help Those Affected by Hurricane Michael

(WBAP/KLIF) – With Hurricane Michael hitting landfall, workers at Red Cross of North Texas go to Florida to help those affected.

Renee Felton with Red Cross said  these volunteers will work in shelters, provide emergency supplies, provide health care and distribute food.

Right now, 10 workers have been assigned to help with disaster relief and  Felton said the rest of the workers will travel as soon as airports open back up and it’s safe enough to fly.
