Rain Dampened The State Fair of Texas Revenue by Millions

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The State Fair of Texas saw a dramatic drop in coupon sale revenue this year.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the fair sold 45-million dollars worth of coupons, which typically makes up most of its revenue.

That’s nine-million dollars less than last year, and 11-million less than the record set two years ago.

The record rainfall during the fair’s run this year is considered to be one of the biggest reasons for the drop.
