Trump Awards High Honor to Former Dallas Cowboys QB Staubach, and 6 Other Legends

WASHINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- President Donald Trump awarded a presidential Medal of Freedom to former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Roger Staubach. The Medal of Freedom is the Nations highest honor for a civilian. “I used to watch him  when I was going to school, and I said they can’t catch him he’s just better by far than everyone else…he is something,” Trump said.

Trump acknowledged Staubach for his history of bringing the Cowboys to the Super Bowl and his hard work on the field and out in the community. “Roger you inspire Americans across the county to work hard dream big and always push onto victory,” Trump said.

Trump presented the medal to seven honorees of those were 3 sports figures, Staubach, Babe Ruth and Alan Page. Others honored were,  Miriam Adelson, Antonin Scalia, Orrin Hatch and Elvis Presley.
