Arlington Police Searching For Armed Suspect Targeting Cell Phone Stores

The Arlington Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect targeting cell phone stores.  According to a press release, the lone robber wears a bandana covering his face, but is believed to be a Hispanic man, 5 foot 3 inches tall, and 200 pounds. He is suspected in five Arlington robberies between November 14th and December 6th.

Three of the robberies occurred at Boost Mobile at three separate Cooper Street locations.  Other robberies occurred at Boost Mobile on Collins Street and Metro PCS on Matlock Road.

The suspect, has been viewed on surveillance cameras wearing the same black and grey hooded sweatshirt, jeans, shoes and bandana covering his face. The suspect displayed a knife in the first three robberies. The suspect displayed a handgun in the last two offenses.

Detectives have not ruled out the possibility that the suspect may be responsible for similar robberies in the North Texas area. The specific offenses linked in Arlington include: 

  • 11/14/2018 – Boost Mobile at 3200 S. Cooper St.
  • 11/19/2018 – Metro PCS at 8021 Matlock Rd.
  • 11/20/2018 – Boost Mobile at 3200 S. Cooper St.
  • 11/24/2018 – Boost Mobile at 5975 S. Cooper St.
  • 12/06/2018 – Boost Mobile at 2418 S. Collins St.
