Balch Springs (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas resident arrested for a Balch Springs armed robbery has turned out to be the masked bandit who also held up three convenience stores in Mesquite in a three day period this week. 20 year old Johnny Monarrez has confessed to all four robberies, admitting he held up the stores at gunpoint, dressed all in black, wearing a black bandanna with a skull print over his face. Monarrez faces multiple counts of aggravated robbery.
