Austin (WBAP/KLIF) Thousands of Texans are expected to attend a school choice rally at the State Capitol on Wednesday. Event organizers say the rally will be a chance for parents, educators and students to voice their support for educational opportunity in the state. Among the speakers, Texas U.S. Senator Texas, Assistant U.S. Education Secretary Frank Brogan and Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush. The rally coincides with National School Choice Week which runs until January 26th.
