Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – The real test of the brand new TEXRail system connecting downtown Fort Worth to DFW Airport began Friday morning. The system opened in early January, and was immediately popular: 100,000 riders in the first month. However that first month offered free rides. As of Friday morning passengers have to pay. An all day pass is $5.00. Company officials say they are eager to see how much difference that makes.
