Former Dallas Firefighter Arrested for Putting Hidden Camera in Station Bathroom

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A former Dallas Firefighter has been arrested for allegedly planting a hidden camera in a bathroom at a fire station.

The camera doubled as a USB charging devise according to WFAA-TV.

The arrest affidavit reportedly quotes the former first responder, Craig Lawrence as saying, “I’m about to lose everything,” when confronted about the device by a DFR Captain in January.

Lawrence initially admitted that the devise was his, but denied knowing that it was a camera, but later admitted to everything. When police searched his home, they found hidden web searches to porn sights of hidden cameras of women in restrooms. They also found a hand drawn sketch of a firefighter sitting on a toilet with his pants down.

Lawrence was booked into the Dallas County Jail Wednesday morning. He’s charged with attempted invasive visual recording, a Class A misdemeanor.

He resigned from the DRR last month and has been working at the Wilmer Fire Department where, he has been place on administrative leave until further notice.
