Benbrook (WBAP/KLIF) – A jury Friday sentenced 39 year old Kevin Parnell to 46 years in prison for killing the roommate of his stepdaughter’s ex-boyfriend on Labor Day, 2017. Parnell reportedly blamed Sammie Jones’ roommate for his stepdaughter’s prostitution arrest. He went to Jones’ home looking for that ex-boyfriend, but when told he wasn’t there Parnell reportedly launched into a racist tirade, pulled out a gun, and shot Jones in the face. Parnell was arrested the next day at his workplace.
