DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF – Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police announce an arrest in the February 11th case of a man pushed onto train tracks, and injured by that train, at the DART Morrell Station. The victim is still hospitalized.
DART Police say 27 year old Anthony Davis is now charged with aggravated assault. He’s alleged to have hit the victim from behind, causing him to fall onto the tracks.
Victim Juan Carlos Suarez Diaz suffered multiple fractures in both legs and internal injuries. Diaz told Telemundo 39 that people laughed at him, rummaged through his pockets and filmed the event while cheering he was still alive. Diaz says his life will not be the same any more. Online records show Davis held in the Dallas County Jail on $50,000 bond.
