Automotive Research Center to Open in Denton Co. Bringing New Jobs, Safer Cars

JUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF)- A new automotive research and training center is opening in Denton county, it will be the first of it’s kind the the United States.

DFW-based Solera is opening a CESVI LIV Center in Justin, down the road from Texas Motor Speedway.

Chris Mullen Executive Director of CESVI LIV said it will bring more jobs, skilled technicians, efficient repairs and safer vehicles. “There’s a ton of opportunities for us to be able to equip the industry with cutting edge research, in reparability, service and maintenance,” Mullen said.

She said the intention is to be able to provide independent data and research on reparability and translate them to the industry so that repairs are done the most efficient, effective and safe way possible.

“We have some very unique roadways here and very unique vehicles and our ability to research those skills, equipment and tools allows us to ready the industry for what’s going to be a very exciting time in technology for automotive,” Mullen said.

Construction and staffing is underway.
