Desoto, TX – Staffers working for Desoto ISD are waiting to see if they’ll have a job next school year.
Around 300 people will be let go and Northside Elementary School will be temporarily shut down as the district finds itself in a $27 million shortfall.
The blame is being put on financial mismanagement from previous administrators.
Teachers will be the majority of the staff cut.
