A New Report Reveals a 300% Increase in Dallas Homicides, Compared to Last Month

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A new report shows more than two dozen homicides in Dallas this month.

Data from the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) shows at least 26 homicides across the city this month. Dallas Police said the number could actually be closer to 30. That total represents an almost 300% increase from last month.

On this day last month, Dallas had seven homicide offenses. Since January 1st of this year, 75 homicides have been reported in Dallas. That results in a year over year increase in homicide offenses of 15.38 percent.

Central Dallas – 0
Northeast Dallas – 3
Northwest Dallas – 2
North Central Dallas – 2
Southeast Dallas – 5
Southwest Dallas – 5
South Central – 9
