Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A young boy was run down and killed by a hit and run driver Saturday afternoon in south Dallas. 12 year old Ricky Tave was one of a group of boys collecting donations for their youth baseball team at Ledbetter Drive and Vista Wood Boulevard. He stepped into the street, and was hit by an on coming car. The driver at first stopped, but then got back in her car and drove away. Tave died in the street. 26 year old Jastasia King was later arrested by Dallas Police, and charged with failure to stop and render aid.
