McKinney Neighborhood Covered in Possible Cement Dust

MCKINNEY – WBAP/KLIF – Residents of a McKinney neighborhood woke up Saturday morning to find everything outside – lawns, vehicles, outdoor furniture and shrubbery – covered in a thick layer of dust.   It’s believed cement dust escaped from the nearby Martin Marietta Redi-Mix plant.  The company says it’s working with state air quality officials in an investigation.  The city of McKinney says there is no immediate danger from the dust.  Neighbors tell WFAA-TV they spent much of Saturday cleaning up the outdoor mess, with many concerned about breathing the heavy dust.  Investigation continues
