[VIDEO] North Texas Teen Whose Lungs Failed From Vaping Speaks Out

Fort Worth (WBAP/KLID) – The North Texas teenager who is suffering from a new lung disease doctors are tying to vaping has been identified.

17-year-old Tryston Zohfeld tells the Fort Worth Star Telegram he realized something was wrong about a month ago when he got out of the shower, could not warm up, and experienced cramps.

Two days later, he couldn’t take a full breath.

He’s since been released from the hospital but still experiences pain when he breathes.

Zohfeld says he’s never vaping again…saying “it’s not worth it.

Doctors at Cook Children’s Hospital say they have a vaping patient about once a week.
