DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A 79 year old woman was killed during a drive by shooting in South Dallas, according to Dallas Police. But they do not believe she was the intended target.
Stray bullets reportedly hit Gloria Roque’s home, while she was sitting in her living room. Her cousin Larry says he heard the shots and came to check on her. “She was on the floor. She had fell off the couch (because) the bullet went through the back.”
WFAA-TV reports, Larry describes what he heard Thursday night; “Pow, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow…like five or six. I’m not sure which one hit her, but she got hit.”
This was the second time in two years that Roque’s home was hit by gunfire, according to WFAA-TV. The shooting happened Thursday near Meyers Street & South Malcolm X Boulevard.
