Farmers Branch Police Searching for Suspect in Reported Attempted Kidnapping

FARMERS BRANCH (WBAP/KLIF) – The Farmers Branch Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of trying to kidnap a 12-year-old girl.

According to Police, Officers responded to the 14200 block of Heritage Circle the afternoon of November 9 in reference to a report of an attempted child abduction. When Officers arrived a 12-year-old girl told them that a man with a weapon, possibly a stun gun, approached her. She told Police she managed to get away before the man drove off in an older model mid-sized car.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 40-50 years-old, 5′ feet tall with a gray and white mustache. He was wearing a blue baseball hat backwards, a blue shirt and jeans.

Farmers Branch PD released a sketch of the man Tuesday afternoon. Anyone with any information on a potential suspect is asked to call Police.
