Deadline To Mail Christmas Presents

(WBAP/KLIF) — The deadline to have packages delivered before Christmas is fast approaching. North Texans are encouraged to have their letters and packages to postal carriers soon. Postal workers say their busiest day of the holiday shipping season is coming up on Monday, December 15th.  They expect to process over three million letters and Christmas cards as well as over 430,000 packages all over the world.

The last day to ship packages for an on-time Christmas delivery are Friday, December 13th, for UPS (United Parcel Service), Sunday, December 15th, for the U.S. Postal Service, and Monday, December 16th, for Fed-Ex.  WFAA news says the biggest mistake people make which prevents on-time delivery is illegible writing.
