ROCKWALL (WBAP/KLIF) A Rockwall school bus driver was arrested after an investigation showed the driver was using his electronic devices to take improper video of students entering and exiting the bus.
The Rockwall Independent School District notified police about complaints concerning the driver.
Michael Paul Smith, 43, was arrested for Invasive Visual Recording and booked at the Rockwall County Jail.
A camera system installed in the bus captured Smith’s actions. His main route was for students who attended Springer Elementary and Utley Middle School.
A search warrant was conducted on the suspect’s residence and the case remains under investigation.
