North Texas Represented in Super Bowl LIV

(WBAP/KLIF) — This year’s super bowl features four former North Texan high school football players.

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have a combined 12 players who played high school football in the Lone Star State. Four of them played in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Chiefs have defensive back Armani Watts from North Forney high school. On the 49ers side, wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and defensive end Damontre Moore both played at Rowlett, while defensive end Solomon Thomas played his prep career at Coppell.

Super Bowl 54 kicks off in Miami on February 2nd at 5:30 p.m.
