Well, since it's that time of year again, it might be appropriate to mention the last time the Dallas Cowboys were in a Super Bowl Bill Clinton was still in his first term as President. Don't ask me what the price of a gallon of gas was because I don't remember.
Not surprisingly, a recent survey from Public Policy Polling finds that just 13 percent of the people surveyed approve of the job done by owner Jerry Jones since he bought the team in 1989. That's lower than the percentage of people who support Lance Armstrong and favor Texas seceding from the union.
As for future Super Bowls, next year's will be played in East Rutherford, New Jersey --- outdoors. In 2015, the game is slated for Glendale, Arizona. The site for Super Bowl 50 will not be named until later this spring, but one thing is clear: it won't be in Arlington. It will be in either San Francisco, Miami or New Orleans, again. Seems North Texas did a poor job of impressing the nation when it hosted Super Bowl 45. Man was it cold.
