(Another in a series of occasional encounters between TGWBPE* and me.)
Hillary Clinton will never -- repeat: never -- become the first woman President of the United States.
What? Dude -- everybody knows she's ...
Oh, she might become the first female President. "Woman" is a noun. "Female" is the adjective. Hillary might become the first female President, or the first President who is a woman.
Dude, there you go, complaining about grammar or English or whatever this THING is with you!! Can't you just let me talk?!
Talk away. Try English.
What IS it with you, anyway?
You're serious, aren't you?
I don't hear anybody else complaining.
Any one.
That's what I said!
It matters.
I guarantee that if I walked up to a total stranger and said Hillary Clinton will be our first woman president, they'd ...
Dude, ...
... totally understand what I mean.
... stop ...
I know, right? Ha! Ha! You know I'm right, don't you? Oh em gee! This is AWESOME! I totally own you, dude! ..
... talking.
Woo hoo!
TGWBPE skipped away, fist-pumping.
