DALLAS (WBAP 24/7 News) - A Southern Methodist University student claims on Sunday he was held against his will and assaulted in a hazing incident at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house.
The SMU crime blotter listed the incident as "aggravated assaulted, aggravated kidnapping, personal hazing offense, unlawful restraint."
The Sigma Phi Epsilon house is part of a row of campus fraternity houses on SMU Boulevard.
The university refused to provide a police report or additional information - including how many students were involved, whether the student was injured and when the incident occurred.
A spokesman for the university says it's part of the investigation.
In September, the fraternity's SMU chapter came under scrutiny for another reported crime. One of its members was arrested and accused of sexually assaulting a student at the frat house and in a campus parking garage.
