February 1, 2013
GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP 24/7 News) - Grand Prairie police say speed was a factor in a two-car crash late Thursday night that left two people dead and two injured.
It happened in a construction zone near Belt Line Road around 10:30 p.m.
Police say one car was speeding and lost control when it swerved to avoid slower traffic. That car was then hit by a second car. The first car exploded into flames, killing the driver and a passenger inside.
The other two injured people are expected to survive.
