DALLAS (WBAP 24/7 News) - Dallas-based Tyler Technologies is ramping up hiring nationally and locally as demand grows for its business implementing and managing e-filing and online court systems.
Executive say that the company expects to hire at least 200 employees, including 48 at Tyler's Plano-based Courts & Justice Division, which serves judicial systems throughout the country.
Besides court systems, Tyler provides IT services to other public sector clients, such as cities, counties and schools. It has 2,400 employees.
Last year, Tyler's revenue rose 17 percent, while profit increased 19 percent. The stock hit an all-time high of $54.86 on Thursday amid positive fourth-quarter earnings.
During the quarter, Tyler secured several major contracts with governments and court systems, including a $2.9 million deal with Dallas to integrate the city's municipal court applications into one system.
