DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – The North Texas Irish Festival returns to Dallas’ Fair Park this weekend.
Sheri Bush with organizers Southwest Celtic Music Association says this year’s theme is Legends and Legacies.
“We’ve taken the opportunity to really spotlight the true giants and legends of the genre that have come across our stages over the last 34 years,” said Bush.
Musicians including Altan, Solas, Cathie Ryan and more will play throughout the weekend for festival goers. All ages are welcome for the festival.
Gates open Friday night at 6:00pm. The festival runs Saturday 10:30am to 11:30pm and Sunday 11:30am until 7:30pm.
There are various prices for tickets. Parking is available at Fair Park but organizers encourage people to take the DART Green Line which lets off at Fair Park.
