Dallas Stars React to Possibility of No-Crowd Games

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The rapid spread of the Coronavirus is starting to effect professional sports.

Professional sporting events without’s crowds in the United States might be in the near future. Dallas Star’s center Joe Pavelski hopes it doesn’t come to this.

“We love playing in front of the fans we love being in a full rink and the atmosphere and you just hope as a player that continues,” said Pavelski.

While Stars interim coach Rick Bowness doesn’t seem very threatened by the Coronavirus, he says he will respect the leagues decision.

“I don’t think its that big of a deal to tell you the truth but its all about being respectful for what’s going on in the world,” said Bowness.

In a joint statement from the NHL, MLB, MLS, and NBA, the organizations said they will continue to monitor the situation and take any further step necessary to maintain and safe and welcoming environment.
