(WBAP/KLIF) — The Texas Highway Patrol is officially stopping interstate travelers.following Texas governor Greg Abbott’s executive order, Texas state troopers are officially screening motorists traveling into the state from Louisiana.
Troopers began the traffic stops along Interstate 10 in Southeast Texas and require travelers to complete a form ordered by the Texas governor. The screenings come on the heels of Texas reporting 6,812 cases and 127 Coronavirus deaths as of Monday morning.
