Border Patrol More Efficient, But Illegals Still Pour Across the Border

(WBAP/KLIF) — The open border policy of President Biden could be on pace to allow two million illegal immigrants across the border this year.  Although the crisis continues, border patrol agents are getting more efficient at processing detainees.

Fox News’ William Lajeunesse reporting from a federal facility in Donna, Texas, says that back in march over 5,000 detainees were being processed at the facility, however that number is down to 1,300 on Thursday.  The Feds have also sped up the catch and release approach by streamlining the one to two week processing of each illegal migrant to just 24 hours.

Texas governor Greg Abbott has commissioned the Department of Public Safety and National Guard to combat cartel crime and human trafficking.  The Biden administration says it’s trying to get a handle on the influx of illegal immigrants entering the United States. The president also said on Monday he will raise refugee admissions this year to 62,500.
