Ski Resort In the Metroplex

GRAND PRAIRIE (WBAP 24/7 NEWS) – How would you like to go snow skiing without ever leaving the Dallas-Fort Worth area???

You might be able to do so in about four years. The city of Grand Prairie has given the go ahead to plans to build a Swiss Alps like resort near interstate 30 and Beltline Road not far from Lone Star Park.

The 400 million dollar project will include seven slopes, a snowboard course and a half-pipe. A Hard Rock hotel will also be built on the property.
