Police Impersonator Wanted in Little Elm

LITTLE ELM (WBAP/KLIF News) – Little Elm police are looking for a man impersonating an officer.

Police got wind of the imposter when a resident said she was pulled over by a man wearing a fake mustache who claimed to be an officer.

She said the man had a speaker system and siren, but didn’t show a badge or identification and did not appear to be armed.

Investigators said he was driving a dark Chevy suburban with a red light on the roof.

He’s a white or Hispanic man in his early 20s.  He’s about 5’8″ with a thin build.

It’s a felony to impersonate a police officer.

Police said drivers should call 911 if they doubt they’re being pulled over by a real officer.
