Plants, Pipes and Pets will suffer with low temperatures dropping to 12-10F Sunday and Monday morning.
Even after most of the precip is over…we’ll have a mixsed layer of packed snow, melted, refreezing, plus freezing rain on top of it and some sleet as well. The European model is forecast 2″of precipitation, a mixture of sleet, freezing rain and snow.
If you must drive saturday and sunday, keep you vehicle stocked with extra drinking water, kitty litter or gravel to help get un-stuck..or to help someone else. An extra coat hats and boots would be a good idea as well.
Keep your phone charged up at all times.
If you park outside, but a sheet of plastic or even a blanket on your windshield secured by a couple bricks.
Don’t try to clea your windshield with a pot of boiling water. It will crack.
