Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – It’s not an official announcement, but Governor Greg Abbott has told our media partner, WFAA-TV, that he’ll run for re-election in 2018. He made his comment while being interviewed for the “Inside Texas Politics” program that’ll air Sunday morning at 9:00 o’clock. Abbott’s official announcement will come after the close of the current legislative session.
