Texas Faith Leaders Speak Out Against “Anti-LGBT” Legislation

AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF) – A group of Texas faith leaders called out the Texas Legislature for what the group called anti-LGBT legislation.

In focus is Senate Bill 6, known as the “Bathroom bill.”

Reverend Dr. Neil Cazares-Thomas of Cathedral of Hope in Dallas started off the a news conference in Austin Wednesday.

“We have to stand for the immigrant, we have to stand for the poor and we have to stand for the LGBTQI communities,” said Dr. Cazares-Thomas.

The pastors say they support quality for all Texans including lesbian, bisexual and transgender.
