Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A suspected prowler was shot in east Fort Worth early Thursday morning. It happened just after 2:30 AM in the North Edgewood Terrace neighborhood. Police say a homeowner thought the woman he shot was trying to break in, and opened fire. Investigators say the victim had been arguing with a neighbor shortly before the shooting, but they have not said why she was on the homeowner’s property. The wounded victim is recovering in a hospital, and has been charged with criminal mischief. The homeowner is not facing charges at this time.
