Snow Flurries and More Frigid Cold on the Way

Dallas, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Another round of frigid temps and a good chance of snow is headed to North Texas this afternoon between 3 and 4 p.m.

Precipitation will start as light rain and turn into a wintry mix around 6 p.m. As temps drop, the light rain will give way to snow after 10 p.m., and continue through the night.

About a half inch of the white stuff is expected.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for several North Texas counties including Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Rockwall, beginning at 6 p.m. this evening and end at noon Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to drop to the teens overnight.

Over the weekend, it was some 30 degrees colder in the Dallas-Fort Worth area than it was in Buffalo, NY.
