Jesuit College Preparatory of Dallas Closed Due to Flu Outbreak

DALLAS  (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas has closed due to a widespread outbreak of the flu.

According to a message on the school’s Facebook page, school officials are closing the campus Tuesday and Wednesday, to disinfect the campus in an effort “to support the health and safety of our community.”

The school has also cancelled all non-campus activities and scheduled community service. However, athletic events will continue as planned.

On-campus activity will resume to normal after 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

The school is one of many in North Texas that have had to shut down its campus due to the flu this season.

As of Monday, Dallas County have reported 43 flu deaths this season.
