DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The combined efforts of Dallas Fire Rescue, Dallas Police and the Texas Game Warden’s office result in a woman’s body being found and recovered from Lake Ray Hubbard.
Dallas Fire Rescue & Dallas Police responded to a 9-1-1 call water rescue call, Saturday evening just before 6p.m. According to police, a woman jumped off a pontoon boat into the lake, but never came back up. Rescuers searched for the woman on Saturday, but could not find her. The search was called off after it was too dark to continue the search.
The search resumed Sunday morning. Between 2:30p.m. & 3p.m.,Sunday afternoon the game warden got a hit on sonar near the original search area. All three agencies combined to pull the woman from the water.
